Day 64, February 27

"Commitment: It's the little commitments every day that lead to the final results we're striving for."

As I continue on my mindful living journey I remind myself to stay committed, because the results are so incredibly worth it! I have been feeling so much more relaxed and joyful recently! I spent the weekend with my grand kids (Brody, Ellie and Cade) and did my best to be engaged. I strayed a time or two (that darn phone is such a temptation), but overall focused and enjoyed every bit of my time with them. 

I have been striving to be more healthy for several weeks now (again). Earlier in the new year I posted  tips for mindful eating in a blog (click on mindful eating to go to that blog). I plan to refocus this week on mindful eating and also step up my exercise program a bit. Every time I spend time with my little grand kids I'm reminded of my purpose for staying healthy... so I can keep up with them and because I want to be around for a long while!
